Forevermark developed a way to use nano-technology to laser an invisible code, 1/8th of the width of a strand of human hair, onto a diamond. Invisible to the human eye, the code creates a ‘passport’ for each diamond so buyers can be certain where their diamond came from and know it is ethical.

To showcase this new technology WE DOCUMENTED ‘The Journey’ of a diamond froM A MINE TO SOMEONE’S FINGER. We travelled from Jwaneng mine in Botswana to a nano-technology lab in Antwerp to a design studio in Milan to document all the steps of the process and all the different people involved in the industry from miners to designers.
