I'm a photographer from a small town in the north of Scotland.
I got into photography sort of by accident after a chance encounter with the band Sonic Youth aged 16. I studied at Edinburgh College of Art and Cambridge Uni and love to collaborate on a mix of commercial, editorial and personal projects from documenting Palestinian Refugee Camps to Arcade Fire on tour to the world cup in Brazil. I love to capture moments, tell stories, collaborate and make good things happen.
Clients and collaborators include Arcade Fire, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Red Bull, Nike and Oxfam. My works been exhibited in various group and solo shows in New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Sydney and published in various magazines and newspapers. My first book 'I Predict a Riot' was published by Koenig Books.
I'm a photographer because I love taking photos and it makes me happy. I love to take photos that are true, rich and real and make you feel like you were there too.
